이 사업은 20대 신혼부부에게 실질적인 혼수 비용을 지원함으로써 젊은 세대가 일찍 결혼하고 안정적인 가정을 이루어 아이를 낳을 수 있는 긍정적인 여건을 만들기 위해 올해 처음으로 시행되는 정책이다.
올해는 20대 신혼부부 16세대에 각 100만 원 상당의 가전·가구 구입비를 지원할 계획이다. 지원 대상은 2025년 1월 1일 이후 혼인 신고를 완료한 부부로, 부부 모두 만 18세부터 29세 이하이며 혼인 신고일을 포함하여 신청일까지 계속해서 6개월 이상 경상북도 내에 주민등록을 두고 거주하는 대한민국 국적의 신혼부부이다.
혼수비용 지원을 위한 구비 서류는 울진군청 홈페이지에 게시된 혼수비용 신청서와 개인정보 수집·이용 동의서, 그리고 가전·가구 구입 영수증, 주민등록초본, 혼인관계증명서, 통장 사본이다. 신청자는 해당 서류를 갖추어 주소지 관할 읍·면사무소에 직접 제출하면 된다.
손병복 울진군수는 “결혼은 우리 모두의 미래라는 슬로건 아래, 결혼 준비 과정에서 경제적으로 부담이 될 수 있는 혼수 비용의 일부를 지원함으로써 결혼을 앞둔 예비부부는 물론 경제적인 어려움을 느끼는 젊은 신혼부부에게 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있도록 다양한 정책을 적극적으로 추진해 나가겠다”고 강조했다.

The required documents for dowry support are the dowry application form posted on the Uljin County Office website, the consent form for collection and use of personal information, receipts for purchase of home appliances and furniture, a copy of the resident registration, a marriage certificate, and a copy of the bankbook. Applicants can submit the documents directly to the township or township office in charge of their address.
