브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 신동욱 국민의힘 중앙선대위 수석대변인은 16일 "사법부에 대한 증오를 드러내면서 '정치보복 하지 않겠다'는 이재명 더불어민주당 대선후보의 허언을 믿을 국민은 아무도 없다"고 일갈했다.
신 수석대변인은 이날 논평을 통해 "이재명 후보는 며칠 전 내란 세력을 다 색출해야 한다며 '법정은 깨끗해야 한다'는 섬뜩한 발언을 했다"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "이는 자신이 정권을 잡으면 현재의 사법부를 바꾸고 자신들의 하수인들로 채워 넣겠다는 경고에 다름없다"면서 "지금 민주당이 벌이는 반헌법적 법치 파괴 행태는 이재명에게 불리한 판결을 내렸다는 이유로 사법부에 보복성 압박을 가하는 것으로밖에 보이지 않는다"고 주장했다.
이어 "그러면서도 '나는 누구를 괴롭힐 때 행복하지 않다', '집권 후 정치보복을 하지 않겠다'고 외치니 국민에게 전혀 와닿지 않는다"라며 "피고인 신분으로 사법부에 으름장을 놓는 대통령 후보와, 그런 피고인의 면소법을 위해 물불을 가리지 않는 세력이 정권을 잡는다면 어떤 무소불위의 권력을 휘두를지 상상도 가지 않는다"고 비판했다.
그는 또한 "이재명 후보는 서부지법 난동 당시 '국가 공동체 질서를 유지하는 사법 체계를 파괴하고 민주공화국의 기본적 질서를 파괴하는 행위'라고 비판한 바 있지만, 정작 본인과 민주당이 벌이고 있는 사법 파괴 작태도 다르지 않다"고 꼬집었다.
끝으로 그는 "국민이 원하는 나라는 '법치주의 대한민국'이지, '이재명의 왕국'이 아니다. 이재명 후보가 정치보복에 대한 발언이 진심이라면, 말이 아닌 행동으로 보여야 한다"고 덧붙였다.

Finally, he added, “The country the people want is a ‘Republic of Korea under the rule of law,’ not a ‘kingdom of Lee Jae-myung.’ If candidate Lee Jae-myung is sincere about his remarks on political retaliation, he should show it with actions, not words.”
