【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용, 이하 한울본부)는 지난 5월 17일 개최한 ‘제1회 한울 상고문화제’를 600여 명의 지역주민이 참여한 가운데 성황리에 마무리했다고 밝혔다.

‘한울 상고문화제’는 ‘항상 상(常), 생각할 고(考)’라는 의미를 담아, 아이들이 스스로 생각하고 표현하는 힘을 기를 수 있도록 기획된 문화축제로, 지역사회와 함께 소통하고자 하는 한울본부의 노력의 일환이다.
주요 프로그램으로는 초등학생을 대상으로 한 사생대회가 열렸으며, ‘에너지와 함께하는 행복한 미래’를 주제로 창의적인 작품들이 선보였다. 총 64개의 우수작이 선정되어 시상됐으며, 수상작은 작품집으로 제작되어 배포될 예정이며, 한울에너지팜에서도 전시된다.
이외에도 민속놀이, 소형모듈원자로(SMR) 스티커 퍼즐 등 5종의 체험 부스가 운영되어 참여자들의 큰 호응을 얻었으며, 한울에너지팜 야외무대에서는 전통 줄타기, 마술쇼, 버블쇼 등 다채로운 공연이 펼쳐져 축제 분위기를 고조시켰다. 실내에서는 ‘사랑의 편지 쓰기’ 행사가 진행되어 가족 간 따뜻한 정을 나누는 시간도 마련됐다.
행사에 참여한 한 학부모는 “아이들과 함께 하루 종일 다양한 프로그램을 즐기며 소중한 추억을 쌓을 수 있어 만족스러웠다”며, “벌써부터 가을에 열릴 상고문화제가 기대된다”고 전했다. 또 한 어르신은 “민속놀이와 전통 공연 덕분에 어린 시절을 떠올리며 활기찬 하루를 보낼 수 있었다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
이세용 한울본부장은 “아이들의 작은 생각과 표현이 미래의 멋진 꿈으로 이어지길 바라는 마음에서 상고문화제를 준비했다”며, “가을에 열릴 ‘상고문화제 추(秋)편’은 피아노 콩쿨과 글짓기 대회, 어르신도 함께할 수 있는 색다른 프로그램으로 구성해 다시 지역민을 찾아가겠다”고 전했다.

Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, ‘1st Hanul Sanggo Cultural Festival’ held successfully
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (CEO Lee Se-yong, hereinafter referred to as Hanul Headquarters) announced that the ‘1st Hanul Sanggo Cultural Festival’ held on May 17th was successfully concluded with the participation of approximately 600 local residents.
The ‘Hanul Sanggo Cultural Festival’ is a cultural festival planned to foster children’s ability to think and express themselves, containing the meaning of ‘always sang (常), think (考)’, and is part of Hanul Headquarters’ efforts to communicate with the local community.
The main program was a drawing contest for elementary school students, and creative works were presented under the theme of ‘A Happy Future with Energy’. A total of 64 excellent works were selected and awarded, and the winning works will be produced and distributed as a collection of works and will also be exhibited at Hanul Energy Farm.
In addition, five experiential booths, including folk games and small modular reactor (SMR) sticker puzzles, were operated, receiving great responses from participants. At the Hanul Energy Farm outdoor stage, a variety of performances, including traditional tightrope walking, magic shows, and bubble shows, heightened the festival atmosphere. Indoors, a ‘love letter writing’ event was held, providing time for families to share warm feelings.
A parent who participated in the event said, “I was satisfied that I could enjoy various programs with my children all day long and make precious memories,” and “I am already looking forward to the Sanggo Cultural Festival that will be held in the fall.” Another senior citizen said, “Thanks to the folk games and traditional performances, I was able to spend a lively day reminiscing about my childhood.”
Lee Se-yong, head of the Hanul branch, said, “We prepared the Sanggo Cultural Festival in the hope that children’s small thoughts and expressions will lead to wonderful dreams for the future,” and added, “The ‘Sanggo Cultural Festival Fall Edition’ to be held in the fall will once again visit local residents with a piano competition, essay contest, and unique programs that seniors can also participate in.”
