‘e-안심하우스’는 에너지 성능이 낮은 발전소 주변 취약계층 가구를 대상으로 단열 보강, 창호 및 보일러 교체, LED 조명 설치 등 고효율 설비 시공을 지원하는 에너지 효율 개선 사업이다. 총 사업비는 20억 원 규모로, 에너지복지 확대를 위한 한국수력원자력, 한국에너지재단, 한국에너지기술연구원이 2023년 체결한 3자 업무협약에 따라 전국 13개 지역에서 추진되고 있다.
현재까지 298가구와 복지시설 14곳이 해당 사업의 지원을 받았으며, 한울본부는 이 중 울진 관내 취약계층 36가구와 인덕사랑마을을 대상으로 지원을 완료했다.
에너지 효율성 진단 결과, 수혜 가구는 이전 대비 약 36%의 에너지 비용을 절감한 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 가구당 연간 249그루의 나무를 심는 것과 같은 수준의 탄소 저감 효과를 내는 것으로 분석됐다.
