[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 22일 남하면 무릉리 일원에 군민과 생활체육 동호인의 염원을 담아 조성된 제2스포츠타운과 제2창포원 파크골프장의 동시 준공식을 개최했다.
이날 준공식에는 구인모 거창군수를 비롯해 이재운 거창군의회 의장, 김일수 도의원, 군의원, 유관기관 및 단체장, 읍면 체육회장과 종목별 협회장, 생활체육 동호인, 남하면 지역주민 등 300여 명이 참석해 새로운 체육시설의 준공을 축하했다.
행사는 내빈 소개, 경과보고, 준공식 퍼포먼스, 기념사 및 축사, 준공 기념 테이프 커팅식, 종목별 시축·시구·시타, 시설 관람 순으로 진행됐다.
거창군은 제2스포츠타운과 제2창포원 파크골프장 조성을 위해 부지면적 113,427㎡에 총사업비 175억 원을 투입하여, 야구장 1면, 축구장 1면, 그라운드골프장 1면, 파크골프장 36홀과 함께 관리동, 주차장 241면 등 부대 시설을 조성했다.
또한, 준공된 제2창포원 파크골프장을 중심으로 2026년 6월까지 마리면 외 4개 면에 5개소를 추가 조성해 전국 최고의 명품 경기장으로 발전시켜 나갈 계획이다.
