김기웅 서천군수가 제21대 대통령선거를 앞두고 유권자의 소중한 권리인 ‘한 표’의 가치를 알리기 위해 투표 참여 릴레이 캠페인에 동참했다.

김 군수는 “서천의 한 표가 대한민국의 미래를 바꾼다. 군은 지난 총선에서도 72.4%의 도내 투표율 2위를 기록할 만큼 높은 참여율을 보였으며, 군민 여러분의 한표 한 표가 우리 지역의 목소리를 더욱 크게 만들 것”이라며 서천의 유권자들이 보여준 높은 참여 의식을 치하하고, 민주주의 실현을 위한 투표의 중요성을 강조했다.
서천군은 원활한 선거 진행을 위해 철저한 준비에 나섰다. 군에 따르면 관내에는 총 13곳의 사전투표소와 26곳의 본투표소가 마련될 예정이다. 사전투표는 5월 29일(목)과 30일(금), 양일간 오전 6시부터 오후 6시까지 진행되며, 본투표는 6월 3일(화) 오전 6시부터 오후 8시까지 실시된다.
