이번 훈련은 민원실 직원, 청원경찰, 구리경찰서 관계자 등 50여 명이 참여하여 특이 민원인의 폭언·폭행 상황에 대비하고 비상 상황 발생 시 신속하고 효과적인 대응 능력을 향상하는 데 중점을 두고 진행됐으며, 경찰과의 유기적인 협조 체계를 강화하는 데에도 초점을 맞췄다.
