김해여성복지회관은 지난 26일 회관 2층 강당에서 김해여성복지회 창립 56주년·회관 건립 43주년 및 제30회 할머니의 날 기념행사를 개최했다.
이 자리에는 여성 실버대학과 성원학교(성인문해교실) 수강생 등 100명이 참석하여 여성복지회 창립과 회관 건립을 축하하였다.
‘할머니의 날’은 1995년 김해여성복지회관에서 자체 제정한 날로, 지난 30년 동안 어버이날과는 별도로 여성 어르신들의 삶과 헌신을 기억하는 기념일로 자리매김했다.
