브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 제21대 대통령선거를 일주일 앞둔 27일 김문수 국민의힘 대선후보와 문재인 정부 국무총리를 지낸 이낙연 새로운미래 상임고문이 연대를 선언했다.
27일 새미래민주당에 따르면 이낙연 고문은 이날 오전 11시 서울 영등포구 한양빌딩에서 김문수 후보와의 연대를 선언하며 개헌과 공동정부 구성을 발표했다.
양측은 전날 서울 모처에서 비공개 회동을 갖고 논의한 끝에 선거 연대를 하기로 결정한 것으로 전해진다.
앞서 전병헌 새미래민주당 대표도 지난 20일 김용태 국민의힘 비상대책위원장과 회동을 갖고 양당 간 선거 연대 필요성에 공감대를 형성한 바 있다.
이낙연 고문은 전날 자신의 페이스북에서 "더불어민주당은 제어 기능을 잃었고 국민의힘은 아직도 정신을 놓고 있다"며 "절제를 잃은 진보는 폭정이 되고 대안 없는 보수는 무능일 뿐"이라고 말했다.
