브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 엔씨소프트의 PC MMORPG(다중접속역할수행게임) ‘아이온’이 신규 콘텐츠 업데이트 ‘검의 귀환’을 진행한다.
아이온 이용자는 오는 28일 정기점검 이후부터 △‘검성’ & ‘살성’ 클래스 리부트 △신규 필드 ‘테바’ △테바 챌린지 및 클래스 체인지 이벤트 등을 즐길 수 있다.
아이온의 오리지널 클래스 ‘검성’과 ‘살성’이 리부트된다. 기존 40여 개에 달하던 스킬을 각각 25종 내외로 통합해 조작 편의성을 높였다. 전반적인 스킬 공격력과 쿨타임도 조정해 스킬을 효율적으로 사용할 수 있도록 개선했다.
‘테바’는 6개 지역과 1개의 숨겨진 섬으로 구성된 아이온 최초 전장형 신규 필드다. 기본적으로 솔로 플레이를 지원하지만, 같은 레기온일 경우 최대 2인까지 파티가 가능하다. 각 지역에서는 캐릭터의 성장도에 따라 자유로운 PvP(플레이어 대 플레이어) 전투를 즐길 수 있다.
테바에는 강력한 몬스터를 포획해 전투 동료로 활용할 수 있는 ‘프리즘 코어’ 시스템이 새롭게 도입된다. 필드 내 PvP를 통해 획득할 수 있는 ‘아르카니움’을 모으면 ‘치명타 피해 증가’ 옵션을 부여할 수 있는 신규 장비 ‘아르카 시드’를 획득할 수 있다.
엔씨는 업데이트를 기념하는 다양한 이벤트도 진행한다. 아이온을 시작하는 이용자를 위한 특별 선물이 제공되며, 이용자가 ‘테바 챌린지’ 이벤트를 완료하면 △60레벨 희귀 마석 △희귀~전승 신석 △최상위 장비 및 상위 스티그마로 교환 가능한 ‘데바 영혼석’을 획득할 수 있다. 특화서버에서는 반복 퀘스트를 통해 더 많은 보상을 받을 수 있다.
