당진시, 충남도민체전 출전 선수단 격려…

당진시가 다가오는 2025년 충청남도민체육대회를 앞두고 출전 선수들을 격려하며 사기를 북돋았다. 

오성환 시장은 지난 27일부터 종목별 훈련장을 직접 찾아 선수와 지도자들의 노고를 치하했다.

이번 격려는 총 두 차례에 걸쳐 진행되며, 1차로 14개 종목 경기장을 방문하며. 오는 6월 2일에는 남은 11개 종목 선수단에 대한 격려가 이어질 예정이다. 격려 현장에는 백종석 당진시체육회장과 임원진도 함께 참석해 힘을 보탰다.

오 시장은 선수들에게 당진을 대표하는 자긍심을 가지고 경기에 임해 달라고 강조하며, 내년 당진에서 열릴 도민체전에서 종합 우승을 달성할 수 있도록 이번 대회를 통해 실력을 다져줄 것을 당부했다. 백 회장 역시 선수단의 헌신에 감사를 표하며 아낌없는 지원을 약속했다.

천안시에서 6월 12일부터 15일까지 열리는 '2025 충청남도민체육대회'에 당진시는 임원 186명, 선수 640명 등 총 826명의 선수단을 파견한다. 

당진시는 개최지인 천안의 강세 속에서도 4년 연속 도민체전 상위권 진입과 종합 우승을 목표로 최선을 다할 계획이다.
