태안군, 농업 경쟁력 강화 '농촌지도 시범사업' 현장 점검

태안군이 지역 농업의 경쟁력을 확보하고 농가 소득 증대를 지원하기 위한 '농촌지도 시범사업'의 성공적인 추진을 위해 현장 점검에 나섰다. 

군은 농업인들의 실질적인 어려움을 듣고 맞춤형 기술 지원 방안을 모색하고자 이번 점검을 실시했다.

지난 27일, 태안군농업기술센터 주관으로 가세로 군수와 작목별 전문지도사 등 관계자들이 태안읍 송암리, 반곡리, 상옥리, 도내리 등 4개 주요 시범사업장을 직접 방문하여 추진 상황을 점검하고 농가의 목소리를 청취했다.

이번 현장 점검 대상 사업은 △기후변화 대응 화훼재배 기술보급 △한우 사육시설 개선 △청년농업인 온실환경 개선 △마늘·양파 기계화 재배 사업입니다.

송암리 화훼 시범사업장에서는 지역 특산물인 호접란의 생육 상태와 출하 현황을 꼼꼼히 살피고 유통 및 판로 확대 방안을 논의했으며. 반곡리 한우 사육시설 현장에서는 고온기 대비를 위한 에어제트팬과 배기팬 설치 현황을 점검하고 축사 내 온·습도 관리 등 사육 환경 개선에 대한 의견을 들었다. 

상옥리 청년농 온실에서는 스마트팜 기술을 도입한 온실환경 개선 현황과 재배 중인 쌈채류의 생육 상태를 확인했으며, 도내리 마을 마늘·양파 기계화 현장에서는 작업 효율성과 노동력 절감 효과를 중심으로 기계화 재배 확대의 필요성과 관련 기술 지원 사항을 논의했다.

군 관계자는 "이번 현장점검은 단순히 사업 진행 상황을 확인하는 것을 넘어 농업 현장에서 농업인들이 직접 겪는 어려움과 요구사항을 경청하고 함께 해결 방안을 모색하기 위해 마련되었습니다"라고 밝혔다. 

또한 "앞으로도 현장 중심의 소통을 확대하여 농업인들이 체감할 수 있는 실효성 있는 농정을 추진해 나갈 계획"이라고 덧붙였다.

태안군은 매년 기후변화 대응, 청년농 육성, 축산 환경 개선, 농작물 기계화 등 다양한 분야에서 농촌지도 시범사업을 추진하며 지역 농업의 지속가능한 발전과 경쟁력 강화에 힘쓰고 있다.
