브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 제21대 대통령선거 사전투표 첫 날인 29일 역대 최고치의 투표율을 이어가고 있다.
중앙선거관리위원회에 따르면 이날 낮 12시 기준 전국 유권자 4439만1871명 가운데 386만1415명이 투표에 참여하며 전국 평균 투표율은 8.70%다.
지난 2022년 20대 대선 당시 같은 시간대와 비교하면 1.59%포인트 높은 수치로, 사전투표 제도가 전국단위 선거에 처음 적용된 2014년 6·4 지방선거 이후 재·보궐을 제외한 전국단위 선거 기준으로 역대 최고치의 사전투표율을 이어가고 있다.
지역별로 보면, 전남이 17.33%로 가장 높았고 대구가 5.63%로 가장 낮았다.
나머지 지역은 ▲서울 8.34% ▲부산 7.32% ▲인천 8.03% ▲광주 14.64% ▲대전 8.19% ▲울산 7.45% ▲세종 9.60% ▲경기 7.97% ▲강원 9.36% ▲충북 8.57% ▲충남 8.01% ▲전북 15.75% ▲경북 7.54% ▲경남 7.56% ▲제주 8.86% 등으로 집계됐다.
이번 대선 사전투표는 29~30일 이틀간 전국 3568개 투표소에서 실시된다. 투표 시간은 오전 6시부터 오후 6시까지다.
