세종시교육청진로교육원이 오는 5월 31일, 다문화가정 학생과 학부모 100여 명을 대상으로 한 맞춤형 진로체험 및 상담 프로그램을 운영한다.
이번 행사는 다양한 문화적 배경을 가진 학생들의 진로 탐색 역량을 키우고, 학부모들이 자녀의 진로 설계를 이해하고 지원할 수 있도록 돕기 위한 취지로 마련됐다. 진로교육원은 체험 중심의 프로그램 구성으로 참여자들의 흥미와 실질적인 도움을 이끌어낼 계획이다.
행사는 진로 체험 ,가족 참여형 부스 활동 ,맞춤형 진로 상담 ,진로·진학 정보 나눔 등 총 5개 영역으로 나뉘어 진행된다.
‘진로 체험’ 영역에서는 창업 판촉물 제작, 라이브커머스 실습, 수색 드론 조종, 스마트 농업 설계 등 8개의 진로 체험실을 통해 다양한 직업군을 간접 경험할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.
‘부스 체험’에서는 세종 지역 랜드마크 찾기, 심폐소생술 꾸러미 제작, AI 로봇을 활용한 택배 배달 체험 등 11개의 활동이 운영돼 참가자들이 진로를 놀이처럼 탐색할 수 있다.
진로 상담 프로그램은 사전 신청자에 한해 맞춤형 검사와 전문 상담이 제공되며, 필요 시 통역 서비스도 지원된다. 상담을 통해 자녀의 진로 성향을 보다 깊이 이해하고, 실질적인 진학·진로 계획 수립이 가능하도록 돕는다.
또한, ‘진로·진학 정보 나눔’ 부스에서는 고교학점제 안내서, 세종교과중점학교, 한국폴리텍다솜고 등 지역 내 진로 관련 기관 정보가 6개 외국어로 제공돼, 언어 장벽을 낮췄다. 여기에 인공지능 기반 진로·진학 정보 검색 시스템도 마련돼 참가자들의 관심을 끌 전망이다.
세종진로교육원은 이번 행사를 계기로 세종시가족센터, 다문화교육 담당 기관 등과의 협력 체계를 더욱 강화하고, 다문화가정을 위한 진로 설계 지원을 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
