홍태용 김해시장 “헌혈자 예우 강화 위해 노력”

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 지난 2일, 세계 헌혈자의 날(6.14)을 기념하여 관내 헌혈 유공자와 유공단체를 표창하고 김해시청과 김해여자고등학교에서 단체헌혈과 헌혈장려 캠페인을 실시했다고 4일 밝혔다. 

시는 혈액 수급 안정화와 헌혈문화 확산에 크게 기여한 개인 중 육군 제7073부대 김민영 대위, 장유 고등학교 이유진 교사, 경상남도 경찰청 박효복 경장, 단체 중 진영 고등학교, 국제로타리 3722지구 김해1지역 협의회에게 유공 표창을 수여했다. 

또 귀중한 생명을 살리는 헌혈문화를 확산하고 혈액 수급에 보탬이 되고자 매 분기 단체 헌혈 일정을 정하여 사랑의 헌혈 캠페인을 하고 있으며, 시민 헌혈 활동 증진을 위한 ‘김해시 헌혈장려 조례’ 제정, 헌혈자에게 5,000원 상당의 상품권 추가 지급 등 헌혈률 제고를 위한 다양한 사업을 시행하고 있다. 

홍태용 김해시장은 “김해시는 올해도 헌혈 증진과 헌혈자 예우 강화를 위해 노력하겠다. 귀중한 생명을 살리는 헌혈 캠페인에 동참해 준 직원과 시민들에게 깊은 감사를 드리며 앞으로도 헌혈 사업에 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
