울진군, K-U시티 프로젝트 울진컨소시엄 발대식 개최

【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=울진군(군수 손병복)은 6월 5일 경일대학교 울진캠퍼스에서‘K-U시티 프로젝트 울진컨소시엄’발대식을 개최하고, 인재양성 및 지역 정주 활성화 사업에 본격 착수했다고 밝혔다.

 이번 발대식에는 경상북도, 울진군, 경일대, 영남대, 경북대 등 주요 기관 관계자들이 참석해 각 기관의 인재양성 전략과 프로젝트 추진 현황을 공유하고, 긴밀한 협력체계 구축 의지를 다졌다.

 K-U시티 프로젝트는 울진 원자력수소 국가산업단지 조성사업과 연계하여, 지역 청년들에게 교육과 취업의 기회를 제공함으로써 지역에 정착할 수 있도록 지원하는 인재양성 사업이다.

 경북도는 사업의 총괄기관으로서 대학과 기업을 잇는 산학 협력 구조를 마련하였으며, 울진군은 고등학교/대학교-기업간 채용 연계를 강화하기 위해 협약기업 발굴에 지속적으로 힘쓰고 있다.

 각 참여대학은 기업 맞춤형 인재 양성을 목표로 커리큘럼 개편 등 다양한 교육 혁신을 추진 중이다. 경일대는‘수소·원자력 분야 인재양성 및 혁신 기술개발 지원 프로그램’으로 차세대 에너지 산업의 전문인력 양성을 준비 중이며 영남대는‘수소산업 분야별 마이크로 전공 및 대학원 과정’과‘기업 맞춤형 산학 프로젝트 운영’을 통해 교육과 연구개발을 공동추진할 예정이다.

경북대는 지역 고교생과 대학생/대학원생, 참여기업이 함께하는‘소그룹 산학프로젝트’를 운영하여, 현장 방문 교육과 특강 등 실무 중심의 인재양성 프로그램을 추진할 계획이다.

 손병복 울진군수는“오늘의 출발이 성공적인 미래를 여는 첫걸음이 되길 바란다”며“울진군은 경북도, 대학, 기업과 함께 끝까지 협력해 K-U시티 프로젝트를 울진형 인재양성 모델로 완성해낼 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Uljin-gun, K-U City Project Uljin Consortium Launch Ceremony Held

Uljin-gun (Governor Son Byeong-bok) held the ‘K-U City Project Uljin Consortium’ launch ceremony at the Uljin Campus of Kyungil University on June 5 and announced that it has launched a full-fledged project to foster talent and vitalize local settlement.

At this launch ceremony, officials from major organizations such as Gyeongsangbuk-do, Uljin-gun, Kyungil University, Yeungnam University, and Kyungpook National University attended to share each organization’s talent fostering strategies and project progress status and to solidify their will to establish a close cooperative system.

As the general organization for the project, Gyeongbuk-do has established an industry-academia cooperation structure that connects universities and companies, and Uljin-gun is continuously working to discover partner companies to strengthen the recruitment linkage between high schools/universities and companies.

Each participating university is pursuing various educational innovations, such as curriculum reform, with the goal of fostering talent tailored to companies. Kyungil University is preparing to foster next-generation energy industry professionals with the ‘Hydrogen and Nuclear Energy Field Talent Development and Innovative Technology Development Support Program’, and Yeungnam University plans to jointly promote education and research and development through ‘micro-majors and graduate school courses by hydrogen industry field’ and ‘operation of industry-academia-tailored projects for companies.’

Kyungpook National University plans to operate a ‘small group industry-academia project’ with local high school students, college/graduate students, and participating companies, and promote practical talent development programs such as on-site visit education and special lectures.

Uljin County Governor Son Byeong-bok said, “I hope today’s start will be the first step toward a successful future,” and “Uljin County will cooperate with Gyeongbuk Province, universities, and companies to the end to complete the K-U City Project as an Uljin-style talent development model.”
