시는 지난해 9월 ‘꿈꾸는 도시텃밭 정원디자인 콘테스트’를 통해 어린이집, 도시농업 공동체, 시민 등 다양한 참가자들의 도시 텃밭 디자인 작품을 선보이며 큰 호응을 얻어낸 바 있다.
올해는 공모 대상을 전국으로 확대해 더 많은 참여를 유도할 계획이다.
도시농업에 관심 있는 단체(5명 이내) 또는 개인이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있으며 오는 9일부터 27일까지 이메일을 통해 신청할 수 있다.
신청서 양식과 기타 자세한 사항은 양주시농업기술센터 누리집을 참고하면 된다.
공모전의 1차 서면 심사를 거쳐 선정된 15개 팀은 ‘나리농원 잔디광장’에서 열리는 경진대회에 참가하게 되며 선정된 작품은 시민들에게 자연 속 치유의 공간을 제공할 수 있도록 천일홍 축제와 연계해 오는 9월 28일까지 전시될 예정이다.
