거창군은 지난 9일 거창군립노인요양병원에서 화재 발생 시 대규모 인명피해에 대비한 합동 화재 대피 훈련을 실시했다.
이번 훈련은 거창군보건소, 거창소방서, 거창군립노인요양병원 등 3개 기관 60명이 참여했으며, 요양병원 특성을 고려해 실제 상황과 유사한 조건에서 진행됐다.
훈련은 화재 발생 인지, 전파 및 119신고, 요양병원 자위소방대의 초기 화재 진압과 병동 내 환자 대피 등 시나리오를 기반해 단계별 훈련으로 구성됐으며 병원 직원과 입원환자도 함께 참여하여 훈련의 실효성을 높였다.
거창소방서는 화재 진압과 구조활동을 맡았으며, 소속 대원들은 자위소방대 각 반에 직접 참여해 훈련을 지도하고 점검했다.
거창군보건소는 현장응급의료소를 설치하고 분류반, 응급처치반, 이송반 등으로 구성된 신속대응반을 운영했다. 현장에서는 구조된 환자들을 중증도에 따라 긴급, 응급, 비응급, 지연(사망)으로 분류하고 긴급환자부터 이송 의료기관을 배정해 구급차로 분산 이송하는 훈련도 병행했다.

거창군은 올해 10월 준공 예정인 (가칭)거창 맞춤형 청년임대주택의 새 명칭을 오는 27일까지 공모한다.
