‘안심카 플러스+’는 아동의 안전한 통학환경 조성을 위해 승합차를 지원하는 사업으로, 2012년부터 매년 실시되고 있다. 올해는 총 23개 기관을 선정해 통학용 차량을 제공할 계획이다.
신청 접수는 오는 6월 20일까지이며, 신청 방법과 세부 공모 요강은 한수원 공식 홈페이지(www.khnp.co.kr)와 안심카 플러스 누리집(www.comfortcar.or.kr)에서 확인할 수 있다.
한수원은 지난 14년간 총 664대의 차량을 전국 아동복지기관에 지원해 오며 현장의 높은 호응을 받아왔다. 특히 지난해에는 ‘제14회 어린이 안전대상’에서 행정안전부 장관상 특별상을 수상하며, 상금 전액을 경주 본사 인근 아동양육시설에 기부하는 등 실질적인 아동복지 증진에 힘쓰고 있다.
이 외에도 차량을 지원받은 기관을 대상으로 한 ‘수기 공모전’을 통해 우수 활용 사례를 발굴하고, 총 2천만 원 규모의 상금을 수여하는 등 다각적인 방식으로 복지 향상에 기여하고 있다.
황주호 한수원 사장은 “아이들이 안심하고 통학할 수 있는 환경을 조성하는 것은 사회 전체의 책임”이라며, “앞으로도 미래세대의 건강한 성장을 위한 사회적 책임을 지속적으로 실천해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
