【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=울진군의회(의장 김정희)는 6월 10일부터 20일까지 11일간의 일정으로 제285회 제1차 정례회를 개회하고 본격적인 의정활동에 돌입했다.

이번 정례회는 2024회계연도 결산 승인 심사와 함께 군정 주요 현안에 대한 조례안 심사, 현장 점검 등 다양한 안건을 다룰 예정이다.
정례회 개회에 앞서 임동인 부의장은 5분 자유발언을 통해 “취업약정형 학과 운영을 통한 지역 인재 양성 및 일자리 연계 방안” 마련을 제안하며, 지역 발전을 위한 의회의 적극적인 역할을 강조했다.
제1차 본회의에서는 총 19건의 안건이 상정됐다. 주요 안건으로는 ▲김복남 의원이 대표발의하고 의원 전원이 공동 발의한 「울진군 입학축하금 지원 조례안」 ▲안순자 의원과 임승필 의원이 공동 발의한 「울진군 향교 지원 및 육성에 관한 조례안」 ▲황현철 의원이 발의한 「울진군의회 회의규칙 일부개정규칙안」 ▲울진군이 제출한 「작은영화관 설치 및 운영 조례 일부개정조례안」 등이 포함됐다. 이들 안건은 6월 20일 제2차 본회의에서 최종 심의·의결될 예정이다.
특히 예산결산특별위원회(위원장 황현철)는 회기 초반인 6월 10일부터 12일까지 2024회계연도 결산안에 대한 면밀한 심사를 진행하며 예산 집행의 효율성과 적정성을 집중 점검하고 있다.
김정희 의장은 개회사에서 “이번 정례회는 군정의 주요 사안들을 점검하고 조례안을 심의하는 매우 중요한 시기”라며 “각종 안건 심사와 현장 점검이 차질 없이 진행될 수 있도록 집행기관의 적극적인 협조를 바란다”고 당부했다.
또한, 다가오는 장마철을 대비해 “재해 취약지역에 대한 사전 점검을 철저히 해줄 것”을 주문하며 군민의 생명과 재산 보호에 만전을 기해줄 것을 강조했다.

Uljin County Council (Chairman Kim Jeong-hee) opened the 285th 1st regular session for 11 days from June 10 to 20 and began full-fledged legislative activities.
This regular session will deal with various agenda items such as review of the approval of the 2024 fiscal year settlement, review of ordinances on major county government issues, and on-site inspections.

These agenda items are scheduled for final deliberation and resolution at the 2nd plenary session on June 20.
In particular, the Budget and Settlement Special Committee (Chairman Hwang Hyeon-cheol) is conducting a thorough review of the 2024 fiscal year settlement from June 10 to 12, the beginning of the session, and is focusing on checking the efficiency and appropriateness of budget execution.
In his opening remarks, Chairman Kim Jeong-hee said, “This regular session is a very important time to review key military affairs and deliberate on ordinances,” and asked for “active cooperation from the executive branch so that the review of various agenda items and on-site inspections can proceed without a hitch.” He also emphasized that “preemptive inspections of disaster-prone areas should be thoroughly conducted” in preparation for the upcoming rainy season and that all precautions should be taken to protect the lives and property of the military.
