‘숨은 환급금 찾기’는 별도의 수수료 없이 국세 및 고용·산재보험료의 미환급금을 조회하고, 환급 신청까지 한번에 진행할 수 있는 서비스다. 종합소득세, 부가가치세, 고용·산재보험료를 납부하는 개인 및 개인사업자는 누구나 이용할 수 있다.
해당 서비스는 행정안전부의 ‘디지털서비스 개방’ 정책의 일환으로 마련됐으며, 국세청 및 근로복지공단 시스템과 실시간으로 연동되어 정확한 환급금 정보를 제공하는 것이 특징이다.
KB스타뱅킹에서 조회 가능한 미환급금은 국세 미수령 환급금과, 고용·산재보험료 과오납금 두 가지다.
‘국세 미수령 환급금’은 종합소득세, 부가가치세 등에서 환급이 발생했음에도 계좌오류 등의 사유로 수령되지 않은 세금을 말하며, 5년 이내 청구하지 않으면 국고로 환수된다.
‘고용·산재보험료 과오납금’은 개인사업자가 직원의 입·퇴사, 자격·보수 변동, 착오 납부 등으로 발생한 환급 가능 보험료로, 3년 이내 청구하지 않으면 국고로 환수된다. ‘고용·산재보험료 과오납금’의 경우 KB스타뱅킹에서 환급 신청까지 간편하게 처리할 수 있다.
