중견기업을 글로벌 기업으로 육성하기 위해 혁신성장 생태계를 구축하고 있는 가운데 '중추 기업 전담제'가 새롭게 도입됐다.
전북자치도는 13일 지역경제의 중추적 역할을 수행하는 대기업 및 중견기업과 협력체계 강화를 위해 도입한 '중추 기업 전담제' 본격 시행에 앞서 간담회를 개최했다.
이날 간담회에는 산업통상자원부와 한국중견기업연합회 관계자ㆍ도내 주요 중견기업 대표ㆍ전북도의회 등 30여 명이 참석했으며 제도 취지와 운영 계획을 공유하고 중추 기업 활성화 방안에 대한 의견을 나눴다.
김관영 도지사는 이날 기업 대표들에게 직접 서한문을 전달한 뒤 "전북의 중추 기업이 흔들리면 지역경제 전반이 위협 받는다"며 "기업과 행정이 함께 위기를 넘고 기회를 만드는 든든한 파트너십을 구축하겠다"고 밝혔다.
이어 "'중추 기업 전담제'를 단순한 행정 지원을 넘어, 지역과 기업이 함께 성장하는 상생 생태계로 발전시켜 나가겠다"며 "도정의 중심에 늘 기업이 있다는 생각으로 현장과 소통에 더욱 힘쓰겠다"고 덧붙였다.
