대통령실이 19일 박상민 서울대병원 가정의학과 교수를 대통령 양방 주치의로 위촉했다고 밝혔다.
강유정 대통령실 대변인은 이날 브리핑에서 이같은 사안을 전했다.
강 대변인은 "박상민 교수는 서울과학고·서울대 의대를 졸업하고 한국보건의료연구원 연구기획단장·서울대 가정의학과장·건강증진센터장·2025 아태 학술위원장을 지냈다"며 "현재 서울대 의대 랩 책임교수며 서울대병원 공공의료빅데이터 융합연구사업단장을 맡고 있다"고 전했다.
그러면서 "박 교수는 청년·고령층 암 경험자· 복합 만성 질환자를 위한 근거 중심 생애여정별 포괄적 의료서비스를 개발했으며 젊은의학자상·대한민국 의학학림원 의학상을 수상했다"고 덧붙였다.
