도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 23일(현지시간) "이스라엘·이란이 완전하고 전면적 휴전을 하기로 합의했다"고 밝혔다.
미 'NYT'에 따르면 트럼프 대통령은 이날 자신의 트루스소셜을 통해 "공식적으론 24시간 후 이스라엘·이란 간 12일간 전쟁이 종식될 것"이라며 이같이 전했다. 일단 휴전은 이스라엘·이란 충돌 종료 후 6시간 후부터 시작된다.
향후 이스라엘·이란 양국의 공식 발표가 나와봐야 알겠으나 트럼프 대통령 언급으로 미뤄 보면 늦어도 25일(현지시간) 휴전이 될 것으로 기대되고 있다.
