도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령의 이스라엘·이란 간 휴전 합의 발표 관련해 이란이 24일(현지시간) '이스라엘이 공격 중단 시 이란도 대응하지 않겠다'고 밝혔다.
이날 영국 '로이터 통신'에 따르면 압바스 아락치 이란 외무장관은 "이스라엘이 수도 테헤란 시간으로 늦어도 오전 4시까지 이란에 대한 불법 침략을 중단하면 우리는 이후 대응을 계속할 의사가 없다"고 말했다.
그러면서 "현재로선 휴전·군사작전 중단에 대한 합의가 없다"며 "우리 군사작전 중단에 대한 최종 결정은 나중에 이뤄질 것"이라고 덧붙였다. 트럼프 대통령의 이스라엘·이란 간 휴전 합의 발표 후 이란 측 첫 공식 입장이다.
아락치 장관 발언은 이스라엘 공격 중단 시한으로 밝힌 오전 4시를 넘겨 언론에 전해진 가운데 이란은 오전 5시(현재시간)께 가까운 시간이다.
앞서 트럼프 대통령은 이스라엘·이란이 '완전하고 전면적' 휴전에 합의했다'고 밝힌 가운데 이스라엘 측 공식 입장은 아직 나오지 않고 있는 상황이다.
