김해시, 국도 58호선 삼계교차로 25일 개통

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 25일 오후 2시 국도 58호선 삼계교차로 본선부 1.3㎞가 개통한다고 밝혔다. 이로써 주촌~생림 방면 차량의 본선부 진·출입이 가능해지며 주변 교통 흐름이 일부 개선될 전망이다.

개통 구간은 부산지방국토관리청에서 추진 중인 국도 58호선 무계~삼계 대체우회도로 개설공사 구간 중 지난해 10월 부분 개통한 주촌~삼계 구간의 미완료 구간이다.

무계~삼계 우회도로 건설사업은 장유동 응달에서 삼계동까지 총 13.76km를 연결하는 총사업비 4,772억원 규모 공사로 지난 2008년 3월 착공해 2024년 10월 주촌교차로~삼계교차로 구간을 부분 개통하고 올해 12월 전체 구간 개통을 목표로 하고 있다.

주촌~삼계교차로 개통에 따라 주촌에서 생림 방면 임시램프는 도로 구조 등 교통안전 상의 문제로 폐쇄되고 주변 교차로 유턴으로 기존 도로를 이용해야 한다. 이에 따라 임시램프를 이용해 삼계 방면으로 진입했던 운전자들은 주의가 요구된다. 

김해시 관계자는 “연말 전체 구간이 개통되면 2019년 개통된 진해 웅동~장유 응달 간 국도 58호선과 연결돼 서김해IC 부근을 비롯한 김해 주요 시가지 정체 해결에도 큰 도움이 될 것”이라며 “진해신항, 거가대교 접근도 훨씬 수월해져 물류 이동 효율성도 높아질 전망이다”고 밝혔다.
