유진기업은 최근 일본 미야자키현 니시모로 지구 레미콘협동조합 소속 대표단을 서울시 구로구에 위치한 서서울공장과 연구소로 초청해 현장 견학과 기술 교류 프로그램을 진행했다고 23일 밝혔다. 이번 방문은 국내 레미콘 산업의 자동화 수준과 품질 관리 체계에 대한 일본 업계의 관심이 높아진 가운데 성사됐다.
자동화 생산 현장 첫 공개…日 업계 깊은 관심

Eugene Group has opened a new chapter for industrial exchange between Korea and Japan by introducing the smart production capabilities and quality control technologies of the domestic ready-mix concrete (RMC) industry to Japan.
Eugene Group announced on the 23rd that it recently invited a delegation from the Nishimoro District Ready-Mix Concrete Cooperative in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan, to its Seoseoul Plant and Research Institute in Guro-gu, Seoul, to conduct an on-site tour and technical exchange program. This visit came about due to the growing interest of the Japanese industry in the automation level and quality control system of Korea's RMC industry.
First Public Disclosure of Automated Production Site... Deep Interest from Japanese Industry
During this exchange event, Eugene Group directly demonstrated and explained: ▲the current status of Eugene Group's and Tongyang's RMC businesses ▲the automated production line operating system of the Seoseoul Plant ▲smart processes and quality control systems. In particular, the systematically established smart production base, from automated facility operation to quality control, received significant attention from the Japanese delegation.
Officials from the Japan Ready-Mix Concrete Association praised it as "impressive for its precise quality control and level of process automation," and engaged in in-depth question and answer sessions about specific specifications and operational know-how of production automation. As interest in improving the automation level of RMC production sites had been growing within Japan, Eugene Group's smart process was regarded as a competitive case.
Following the site tour, a discussion on the current status and market characteristics of the RMC industries in both countries led to active exchanges of opinions on more specific industrial issues. Practical information and experiences were shared, including quality control methods and standards, sales unit price structures in the Japanese and Korean markets, and differences in product specifications.
An official from Eugene Group stated, "This event was not merely a factory tour, but a meaningful occasion for sharing know-how and quality control standards across the entire RMC industry internationally. We will continue to expand technical exchanges with overseas RMC industries, including Japan, to enhance the global competitiveness of the domestic industry."
Recently, the domestic RMC industry has been rapidly advancing due to the replacement of aging infrastructure, the expansion of ESG management, and the introduction of construction automation technologies. The Seoseoul Plant boasts one of the highest automation rates and quality control levels in the domestic RMC industry.
