문화공동체 ‘참좋은 사람들’측은 최근 보도자료에서 “전국 8도에서 활동하고 있는 문화예술언론인들이 지난 6월21일 대구에서 모여 이기주의와 극단적 이념에 매몰된 현대사회의 정서를 지양하고 중용과 실용의 가치를 실현하며 편견과 편향을 지양하는, 건강한 토양으로 바꿔나가자는 의미로 ‘참좋은 사람들’이라는 문화공동체를 발족했다”고 알렸다.

이 자료에 따르면, 서울 경기 충청와 영·호남 제주도에 이르기까지 전국 각지에서 활동하는 문화예술 언론인들이 한 자리에 모인 것은 드문 일이다. 현역으로 활동중인 시인 수필가 소설가 시낭송가 한지공예가 사진작가 캘리그래퍼 방송PD등 언론인 변호사 등 16명의 문화예술인들은 이날 창립행사에서 ‘극단적 이념에서 자유롭고 편견과 편향을 지양하며 개인의 정치적 견해 분리하고 이웃에 빛과 소금의 역할을 자임하는 문화공동체의 주역’들임을 다짐했다.
창립 행사를 주관한 대구청라시낭송문학회 이성두(발기인 대표)시인은 “부족하면 채워주고 넘치면 나누고자 하는 정신으로 사회에 기여하고자 한다”면서 문학의 도시 대구에서 이 모임을 결성하게 된 것에 의미를 두기도 했다. 특히 창립 행사 회의장을 제공한 시낭송가 김상순(대구 문성요양복지센터 원장)시인은 “대구에서 출발한 참좋은 사람들의 빛이 전국적으로 번져나서 우리 사회가 더욱 건강하게 되기를 바란다”며 기대를 표하기도 했다. 참가자들은 이성두 김상순 시인의 안내로 대구문학관 대구 근대골목 청라언덕 김광석 거리와 대구 유명 인사들의 사랑방 미도다방을 탐방하기도 했다.
‘참좋은 사람들’은 앞으로 전국을 순회하면서 이 사회에 기여할 부분들이 무엇일지를 함께 고민하며 각종 문화행사를 비롯, 동인 무크지 발행도 계획하고 있다.
이날 창립행사에서 ‘참좋은 사람들’ 초대 회장에는 전향규 시인이, 사무국장에는 김정순 시인이 선출되었으며 박두석 시인이 고문을, 이성두 김동완 두 분을 자문위원에 위촉했다. 2차 모임은 오는 11월 충북 청주에서 갖기로 했다.
