추미애 단장은 “그동안 공수처 및 공조수사본부, 검찰의 내란 수사는 내란 가담 의혹을 받고 있는 권한대행 체제에서 정치적 외압과 독립성 결여 등 여러 한계로 인해 제대로 된 성과를 거두기 어려웠다”고 밝혔다.
