[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 밀양상공회의소는 3일 호텔아리나 경산홀에서 제2회 밀양시 기업인의 날 행사를 개최했다.

이번 행사에는 안병구 시장, 시의회 의원, 지역 기관·단체장, 상공회의소 회원 등 200여 명이 참석한 가운데 열매영농조합법인 김태남 대표가 우수기업인상을 수상했다.

특히, 밀양시장애인복지관과 ‘신(新)기업가정신(ERT) 사회공헌사업’ 지원을 위한 업무협약을 체결하며, 기업의 사회적 책임 실현과 지역사회와의 상생 협력을 다짐하는 뜻깊은 시간도 가졌다.

주보원 회장은 “올해로 두 번째를 맞이한 밀양시 기업인의 날이 지역 기업인들의 소통과 화합의 장으로 자리매김하고 있다”라며 “이 행사가 지속해서 이어져 지역 경제 활성화에 기여하길 바란다”라고 말했다.

안병구 시장은 “기업은 양질의 일자리 창출과 지역경제를 견인하는 핵심 주체로, 인구감소 지역인 밀양에 인구 유입과 활력을 불어넣기 위해 기업인의 적극적인 참여와 역할이 중요하다”라며 “앞으로도 기업과 상생하는 정책으로 아낌없는 지원을 이어가겠다”라고 강조했다.
