이번 점검은 △거창군이 시행하는 웅곡천 생태하천 복원사업, △거창군에서 하천점용 허가를 받은 고속도로 공사 가설교량 현장, △경상남도가 시행하는 하천재해예방사업 3개 주요사업장을 대상으로 진행됐다.
구 군수는 여름철 집중호우와 폭염 대비 재해취약지역의 안전관리 실태를 직접 확인하고, 비상 대응 체계를 점검하는 등 현장 관계자들과의 현장의 목소리를 들으면서 재난대응 체계 구축의 중요성을 강조했다.
구인모 군수는 “여름철 집중호우와 폭염으로부터 군민의 생명과 재산을 보호하기 위해서는 현장의 사전점검으로 위험요소를 제거하고 철저한 공사 관리로 군민의 불편이 해소” 될 수 있도록 당부했다.
거창군은 이번 현장점검을 계기로 재해취약지역 및 공사현장에 대한 점검을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 방침이다.
