카멘 익스트림은 로스트아크의 인기 콘텐츠인 ‘군단장 레이드 카멘’을 더욱 많은 모험가들이 즐길 수 있도록 선보이는 기간 한정 콘텐츠다.
총 4개의 관문으로 이뤄진 원래의 카멘 레이드 중 마지막 4관문만 플레이하도록 설계돼 있으며, 보스의 공격 패턴의 난이도도 완화했다. 두개로 구성된 전투 구간 중간에 ‘정비소’가 있어 공략 도중 파티원이 사망하더라도 다음 전투 진입 전 정비소에서 부활해 파티원 전체가 다시 도전할 수 있도록 구성했다.
‘가드 포인트’ 시스템도 추가했다. 보스의 공격을 정확한 타이밍에 막아내는 ‘저스트 가드’에 성공하거나 전투 중 특정 조건을 만족시키면 가드 포인트를 획득하고 누적된 포인트에 따라 전투에 도움을 주는 버프를 획득하는 방식이다.
버프는 가드 포인트를 최대로 채울 때마다 최대 7번까지 강화된다. 특히, 가장 먼저 최대 포인트에 도달한 모험가는 다른 파티원에게 가드 포인트 증가 효과를 부여하기 때문에 전투에 더욱 많은 기여를 할 수 있다.
