먼저, 갤럭시 Z 폴드7은 접었을 때 8.9mm, 펼쳤을 때 4.2mm 두께에 215g의 무게로, 역대 갤럭시 Z 폴드 시리즈 중 가장 얇고 가벼운 디자인으로 완성됐다.
