브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 현대카드가 해외 여행을 위해 현대카드의 글로벌 특화 혜택을 담은 ‘현대카드 해외모드(이하 해외모드)’ 서비스를 오픈했다고 14일 밝혔다.
‘해외모드’는 회원이 소지한 휴대전화의 시간대 정보를 바탕으로 전세계 206개 국가에서 맞춤형 기능을 사용할 수 있는 해외 전용 서비스다.
이용 방법은 현대카드 회원이 방문한 국가에서 현대카드 앱에 로그인하고 '해외모드'를 클릭하면 해당 국가명과 해당 국가를 상징하는 이미지가 배경으로 표시되며 '해외모드'가 시작된다.
'해외모드' 홈 화면에서는 날씨, 환율 정보, 환율 계산기 등 여행 중에 가장 요긴하게 사용하는 정보들을 바로 이용할 수 있다.
특히 현지에서 이용할 수 있는 국가 별 다양한 제휴 서비스도 한 눈에 확인할 수 있다.
미국에서는 뉴욕현대미술관(MoMA) 무료 입장과 하와이 올로마나 골프장 할인 혜택이, 일본에서는 츠타야 서점과 돈키호테 등에서 이용할 수 있는 ‘일본 제휴 서비스’가, 대만에서는 ‘라인페이로 결제’가, 그리고 프랑스에서는 ‘몽쥬(Monge) 약국 할인’ 등이 노출돼 일일이 찾아봐야하는 수고를 덜어줬다.
자신이 보유하고 있는 카드들의 글로벌 혜택들을 알려주는 ‘해외 이용 체크리스트’도 마련했다. 현대카드는 물론 비자, 아메리칸 익스프레스 등 해외 브랜드사에서 제공하는 다양한 해외 이용 혜택을 확인할 수 있다.
