(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구청이 주최하고 인천서구문화재단이 주관하는 “2025 찾아가는 서구 문화배달” 하반기 공연이 8월 초부터 본격적으로 시작한다.
서구문화재단에 따르면, ‘찾아가는 서구 문화배달’ 은 구민 누구나 일상 속에서 문화예술을 쉽게 접하고 향유할 수 있도록 문화접근성을 높이는데 목적을 두고 있다.
특히, 문화 인프라가 부족한 지역을 직접 찾아가 공연을 개최함으로써 관내 구민들의 문화적 갈증을 해소하고, 지역 간 문화 격차를 줄이는데 노력하고 있다.
지난해부터 서구 전역을 대상으로 운영되는 이 특별한 문화예술 프로젝트는 구민들로부터 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.
올해 상반기에는 누구나 문화예술을 접할 수 있는 일상적인 공간인 산책로, 지하철역, 시장 등 총 5곳에 개최됐으며, 별도의 공연장을 찾지 않아도 남녀노소 누구나 쉽게 즐길 수 있는 창작국악, 클래식, 전통연희, 재즈, 대중가요 등 다양한 장르의 공연이 배달됐다.
하반기에도 구민들의 일상 속 문화 향유 기회 확대를 위해 경서근린공원을 시작으로 총 7회에 걸쳐 문화예술 공연이 배달될 예정이다.
공연은 ▲8월 2일 11시 경서근린공원 ▲8월 22일, 29일 18시 30분, 검단사거리역 광장 ▲9월 6일 18시, 한신더휴캐널파크 중앙잔디마당, ▲9월 12일 18시 30분, 청라 커낼웨이 버스킹존 ▲9월 20일 11시, 거북시장 문화의 거리 ▲10월 내 축산물시장 등에서 개최될 예정이다.
서구문화재단 관계자는 일상 속 문화향유 기회를 제공하는 ‘찾아가는 서구문화배달’ 사업이 구민들의 삶에 작은 여유와 기쁨을 선사하길 바란다며, 앞으로도 더 많은 구민들이 문화예술을 가까이에서 즐길 수 있도록 노력하겠다고 밝혔다.
