[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 경남도의회가 최근 계속된 집중호우로 막대한 피해를 입은 함안군 대산면 일원 벼농사 현장을 긴급 방문해 피해 상황을 점검하고 지원 방안을 논의했다.
최학범 의장을 비롯해 농해양수산위원회 서민호 부위원장, 함안 지역구인 조영제·조인제 의원 등 도의원들은 침수된 벼 농경지와 배수 시설을 직접 살피며 농가들의 어려움을 청취했다.
특히 지난 16일부터 사흘간 함안군에는 도내 최고 수준인 325㎜의 폭우가 쏟아져 심각한 피해가 발생했다. 18일 오전 9시 기준 함안군에서는 소하천 제방 붕괴와 함께 논 50㏊, 수박·멜론 등 시설원예 33동가량이 침수됐다.
경남 도내 전체적으로는 6개 시·군에서 총 431㏊의 농경지가 피해를 입었으며, 추산 피해액만 약 90억 원에 이르는 것으로 집계됐다.

서민호 농해양수산위원회 부위원장은 "집행기관과 협력해 배수 시설 확충, 침수지역 농작물 긴급 방제 등 피해 확산 방지와 조속한 복구를 위해 다각도로 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.
최학범 의장도 "피해 복구 사업의 속도와 실효성을 높일 수 있도록 장비 지원 확대 및 예비비 조기 투입 등 도의회 차원의 최선의 노력을 다하겠다"고 약속했다.
