브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차그룹이 집중호우 피해 복구를 위한 성금 20억 원을 전달하고 긴급 복구 지원 활동에 나섰다.
현대차그룹은 경남 산청, 경기 가평 등 집중호우 피해 지역의 복구와 주민들에 대한 지원이 신속하게 이뤄질 수 있도록 성금 20억 원을 희망브리지 전국재해구호협회에 전달했다고 21일 밝혔다.
현대차그룹은 성금과는 별도로 피해 지역에 세탁·방역 구호차량 6대를 투입해 오염된 세탁물 처리와 피해 현장의 신속한 방역 대응을 돕는다.
호우 피해 지역 차량 소유 고객을 대상으로 다양한 서비스도 지원한다. 호우 피해 차량 입고 시 수리 비용을 최대 50% 할인, 고객 부담을 덜어줄 계획이며, 수리 완료 후에는 무상 세차 서비스도 제공할 예정이다.
자차보험 미가입 고객 대상이며, 피해 사실 확인서가 필요하다. 현대차는 승용 최대 300만 원, 상용 최대 500만 원이며, 기아는 승·상용 최대 300만 원 한도 내에서 지원한다.
현대차그룹 관계자는 “갑작스러운 집중 호우로 삶의 터전을 잃는 등 큰 피해를 입은 모든 분들께 깊은 위로의 말씀을 드린다”며 “성금과 구호차량 투입, 피해 차량 수리비 할인 등 지원이 일상으로의 회복에 조금이나마 보탬이 될 수 있기를 바란다”고 말했다.
