[브레이크뉴스 양주=김완영 기자] 양주도시공사(사장 이흥규)가 옥정체육공원 실내체육관의 시설물 안전관리 수준 및 운영 활동 전반에서 우수성을 인정받아 한국안전인증원이 주관하는 공간안전인증을 획득했다고 밝혔다.
공간안전인증은 소방청이 감독하고 한국안전인증원이 주관하는 기업 자율안전 평가제도이다. 세부적으로 △안전 경영 △건축방재 △소방안전·위험물안전 △설비성능시험 △신기술 및 설비개선 등 총 4가지 분야에 대하여 시설물의 설계·시공·관리 상태 등을 종합적으로 평가해 안전 수준을 인증한다.
이번 공간안전인증 획득을 통해 옥정체육공원 실내체육관은 명실상부한 ‘시민 모두가 안심하고 이용할 수 있는 체육시설’로 자리매김하게 되었다.

공사는 ‘재난·안전체계 적합성 제고를 통한 안전경영 내실화’라는 비전을 세우고 이를 달성하기 위해 국가기준의 안전경영시스템 관리를 위한 안전보건경영시스템(ISO45001) 및 환경경영시스템(ISO14001) 인증을 획득했으며, 전 직원이 참여하는 응급처치 및 심폐소생술 교육 및 체험형 재난안전교육 등을 통해 실질적인 안전 문화 정착을 위해 노력해왔다.
이흥규 양주도시공사 사장은 “옥정체육공원 실내체육관 공간안전인증 획득은 안전을 최우선 가치로 삼고 안전한 환경 조성을 위해 힘써온 전 직원의 노력의 결과”라며 “이번 인증을 발판으로 삼아 지속적인 안전 경영을 추진해 지역사회가 더욱 신뢰할 수 있는 공기업으로 도약하겠다”고 밝혔다.
