서산경찰서(서장 황정인)는 지난 24일, 심화하는 노인 교통사고 문제에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 충남교통안전문화협회와 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.
서산경찰서와 충남교통안전문화협회의 각 대표자가 참석한 가운데 진행된 이번 협약식은, 고령화 사회로 접어드는 서산시의 현실을 반영하여 노인 교통사망사고를 줄이고 시민의 안전을 확보하기 위한 중요한 발걸음으로 평가된다.
