브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 경제계가 상법 및 노조법 개정안이 국회에서 급물살을 타는 것에 대해 “깊은 우려를 넘어 참담한 심정을 금할 수 없다”고 토로했다.
경제8단체는 29일 상법 추가 개정안 및 노조법 개정안에 대한 경제8단체 공동 입장문을 통해 “지난 22일 이사의 충실의무 확대 등을 담은 상법 개정안이 공포된 지 채 1주일도 지나지 않아 추가 상법 개정안이 법안소위에서 처리됐다”며 “노조법 개정안 역시 하루 만에 법안소위와 전체 회의를 연달아 통과했다”고 꼬집었다.
이번 입장문에는 △한국경제인협회 △대한상공회의소 △한국경영자총협회 △한국무역협회 △중소기업중앙회 △한국중견기업연합회 △한국상장회사협의회 △코스닥협회 등 8개 단체가 참여했다.
경제8단체는 “정부와 국회, 기업이 위기 극복을 위해 하나로 뭉쳐야 하는 중차대한 시점에 국회가 기업활동을 옥죄는 규제 입법을 연이어 쏟아내는 것은 기업들에게 극도의 혼란을 초래할 수 있다”며 “관세 협상의 결과가 불투명한 상황에서 자승자박하는 것은 아닌지 안타깝다”고 지적했다.
이어 “상법 추가 개정은 사업재편 반대, 주요 자산 매각 등 해외 투기자본의 무리한 요구로 이어져 주력산업의 구조조정과 새로운 성장동력 확충을 어렵게 할 수 있다”며 “노조법 개정안 역시 사용자 범위가 확대되고, 기업 고유의 경영활동까지도 쟁의 대상에 포함돼 파업 만능주의를 조장하고 노사관계 안정성도 훼손되는 등 심각한 부작용이 우려된다”고 강조했다.
또한, “새 정부가 성장 중심의 경제정책에 대한 의지를 밝힌 만큼, 위기 극복을 위해 정부와 국회, 기업이 하나가 되어 모든 역량을 총동원해야 할 때다”며 “꺼져가는 성장동력을 재점화하고 양질의 일자리 창출을 위해 기업들이 전력을 다할 수 있는 환경을 조성하는데 국회가 나서주기를 바란다”고 요정했다.
