【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시는 오는 8월 1일부터 ‘2025년 경주시 청년 신골든 창업특구 조성사업 시즌4’에 참여할 청년 창업자를 공개 모집한다고 31일 밝혔다.

이 사업은 원도심 내 유휴공간과 빈 점포를 청년 창업공간으로 탈바꿈시켜 청년들에게 창업 자금과 안정적인 공간을 지원함으로써 도시재생과 지역경제 활성화를 동시에 이끌기 위해 추진되고 있다.
올해로 5년째를 맞이한 이 사업은 경주시가 주최하고, 한국수력원자력㈜이 후원, 위덕대학교 산학협력단(경주시청년센터 ‘청년고도’)이 사업을 수행하고 있다.
모집 기간은 8월 1일부터 22일까지 22일간이며, 경주시에 거주하는 만 19세부터 39세 이하의 청년이라면 개인 또는 3인 이내의 팀 단위로 누구나 신청할 수 있다.
참가자 선발은 서류심사, 대면심사, 발표(PT)심사 등 3단계를 거쳐 최종 선정되며, 선발된 창업자에게는 창업아카데미, 컨설팅, 현장 코칭 등의 교육 프로그램과 함께 최대 3,500만 원의 창업지원금이 지원된다. 단, 이 중 20%는 자부담금으로 부담해야 한다.
