브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회가 오는 8월 5일까지 ‘제1기 유소년 승마기자단’을 모집한다.
유소년 승마기자단 프로그램은 승마에 대한 관심과 애정을 가진 유소년들이 직접 콘텐츠 생산의 주체가 돼 또래의 눈높이에서 소통하는 말산업 홍보 활동이다.
총 5명으로 구성될 예정인 ‘제1기 유소년 승마기자단’은 8월 말 발대식을 시작으로 12월까지 4개월간 활동한다. 단순한 정보 습득을 넘어 현장 견학과 축제 참여 등 다양한 체험을 통해 말산업을 직접 경험하고, 이를 바탕으로 생생한 이야기를 전달하는 ‘스토리텔러’로 활동하게 된다.
9월 우리동네 승마장 견학, 10월 월간승마 행사 참여, 11월 국산마 품평회(결승) 취재 등 현장 중심의 미션을 수행한다. 각 활동을 통해 수집한 경험과 정보를 바탕으로 자신만의 콘텐츠(기사)를 제작하고, 개인 SNS와 말산업정보포털 호스피아 홈페이지를 통해 다양한 말 산업 소식을 전달하는 역할을 맡는다.
특별한 혜택도 주어진다. 임명장 및 기자증과 단체복 등이 포함된 웰컴키트는 물론, 창작 활동의 가치를 존중하는 의미로 소정의 활동비(원고료)가 매월 지급될 예정이다. 월별 기사 3편을 모두 제출하는 등 모든 활동을 성공적으로 마친 단원에게는 한국마사회 공식 수료증과 4개월간의 활동 기록을 담은 소식지가 제공된다.
말과 승마에 관심이 많고 개인 SNS 활동을 즐기는 초등학교 5학년부터 중학교 3학년까지의 학생이라면 누구나 지원할 수 있다. 서류심사와 온라인 면접심사를 거쳐 최종 선발된다. 지원을 희망하는 경우 호스피아 홈페이지에 공지된 지원서와 제출서류를 지정 이메일로 접수하면 된다.
