브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 수협중앙회(회장 노동진)가 고수온으로 인한 어업 피해를 막기 위해 발벗고 나섰다.
수협은 양식 전복을 선제적으로 수매해 특가로 판매한다고 밝혔다. 구매한 물량은 GS·이마트 등 오프라인매장과 수협쇼핑을 비롯한 온라인몰에서 최대 60% 할인해 판매한다.

노 회장은 완도소안·완도금일·해남군수협의 조합장들과 곽용구 GS리테일 수퍼사업부 대표와 함께 매장을 찾은 시민들에게 전복을 무료로 증정하며 소비에 참여해 줄 것을 요청했다.
이번 할인은 전복 양식 최대 산지인 전라남도에서 긴급 편성된 예산 9억원이 투입돼 이뤄졌다.
수협중앙회는 이 예산을 통해 1kg당 5000원의 수매 비용을 줄여 총 190톤을 사들일 예정이다.
이 물량은 GS·이마트(110t), 수협쇼핑‧남도장터 등 온라인몰(30t), 바다마트 등(50t)을 통해 판매된다.
판촉에 참여한 GS더프레시는 내달 5일까지 전복 5미(500g)를 50% 할인한 9900원에 선보인다.
이마트도 8월 3일까지 자체 포인트 할인을 통해 최대 60% 할인 판매한다.
수협쇼핑, 남도장터, 농협몰, G마켓, 조선몰 등 온라인몰에서는 최대 20% 할인쿠폰(최대 1만 원)을 통해 할인 혜택을 받을 수 있다.
노동진 수협중앙회 회장은 “고수온 피해가 가시화되기 전에 전복 생산 물량이 사전에 일부 해소돼 어가 경영 안정에 큰 도움이 될 것”이라며 “평소보다 전복 가격이 대폭 낮아져 소비자도 혜택을 받을 수 있는 만큼 전복 소비에 나서 달라”고 요청했다.
