[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 지난 5일 오후 3시 김해시청 소회의실에서 ‘문화도시 김해, 지속가능전략 수립 연구’ 최종 보고회를 개최했다고 6일 밝혔다.
이번 연구는 용역은 지난 5년간 추진한 문화도시 조성사업의 성과를 바탕으로 사업 종료 이후에도 지속가능한 문화도시 기반을 이어가기 위한 중장기 전략을 마련하고자 진행됐다.
보고회에는 김해시 문화관광국 관련 부서 실무진, 김해문화관광재단 등 유관기관 관계자들이 참석해 전략 수행을 위한 협력 방안에 대해 논의했다.
연구를 맡은 문화컨설팅 ‘바라’ 권순석 대표는 김해시의 문화정책 환경분석과 시민 인식 조사 결과 등을 토대로 지속가능 운영체계와 도시의 활력 회복을 위해 ‘시민력 증진’, ‘비즈니스 모델 전환’, ‘도시브랜드 확산’, ‘자생력 강화’ 등을 핵심 전략으로 제시했다.
홍태용 시장은 “그동안 시민과 함께 이뤄낸 문화도시 김해의 성과를 바탕으로 이제는 문화가 일상이 되는 도시로 나아갈 때”라며 “지속가능한 문화 성장 기반을 마련하는 데 아낌없이 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
김해시는 앞으로 이번 연구 결과를 토대로 시민이 체감할 수 있는 실효성 있는 문화정책을 수립해 지역문화의 자생력과 경쟁력을 지속적으로 높여나갈 계획이다.
