김해시, ‘찾아가는 시니어 디지털 스쿨’ 운영

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] (재)김해시복지재단 김해시동부노인종합복지관은 지난 5일 첫 수업을 시작으로 오는 14일까지 총 4차례에 걸쳐 복지관 회원을 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 시니어 디지털 스쿨’교육을 운영한다.

이번 교육은 카카오의 후원으로 카카오임팩트재단이 주최하고, 한국노인종합복지관협회와 시니어금융교육협의회가 공동 주관하는 공모사업의 일환으로 운영된다.

교육은 스마트폰을 활용해 ▲카카오톡 프로필 사진 변경 ▲사진·동영상 전송 ▲친구에게 선물 보내기 등 일상생활에 유용한 디지털 기술을 배우는 과정으로 구성됐다. 향후에는 모바일 결제, 기차 예매 등 실생활에 도움이 되는 다양한 교육이 계속해서 진행될 예정이다.

참여한 어르신들은 실습 활동에 적극적으로 참여하며 높은 몰입도를 보였다. 한 어르신은 “손자에게 사진을 보내고 싶었는데, 이번 기회에 배우게 되어 기쁘다”고 소감을 전했다.

김해시동부노인종합복지관은 앞으로도 어르신들의 디지털 격차 해소와 디지털 역량 강화를 위해 지속적으로 적극적인 지원을 이어갈 계획이다.
