브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 기아는 6일 AutoLand광명에서 노사대표가 참여하는 ‘안전한 일터 조성을 위한 노사공동 안전보건 선언식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 선언식에는 기아 최고안전보건책임자(CSO) 최준영 사장, 전국금속노조 기아자동차지부 하임봉 지부장 등 노사 관계자 16명이 참석했다.
기아 노사는 이번 선언식에서 안전을 최우선 가치로 삼아 협력사를 포함한 모든 중대재해를 근절하겠다는 의지를 분명히 했다.
기아 노사는 △안전 우선의 원칙 실천 △위험요인 발굴 및 개선에 역량 집중 △ESG 경영의 핵심으로서 안전경영 실천 △안전보건 증진·안전문화 정착 등 협력을 통해 핵심 안전가치를 실현할 것을 약속했다.
또한, 기아 노사는 중대재해 예방을 위한 정부 정책 기조에 맞춰 △폭염 피해를 막기 위한 냉방시스템 강화 △산업용 착용로봇 ‘엑스블 숄더’와 AI 기반 경고 시스템 등 스마트 안전기술 확대 적용 △협력사 대상 맞춤형 안전 지원 프로그램 운영 △노사공동 안전 캐릭터 ‘수호’ 발표 △다양한 안전문화 활동 전개 등의 구체적인 조치 사항도 선언문에 담았다.
기아 관계자는 “안전 조치의 실효성을 높이고, 실행 계획을 구체화하기 위해 이번 안전 선언식을 개최했다”며 “노사뿐 아니라 협력사까지 모두가 함께 책임을 다해 지속 가능한 안전 문화가 뿌리내릴 수 있도록 노력할 것이다”고 말했다.
