한중도시우호협회는 8월13일치 보도자료에서“권기식 한중도시우호협회장은 13일 오후 중국 지린(吉林)성 창춘(長春)시 소재 쉐라톤호텔 그랜드볼룸에서 열린 '2025 지메이(吉美)국제신경제대회'에 참석했다.”고 알렸다.
이 자료에 따르면, 권기식 회장은 이날 축사에서 "이제 뷰티산업의 주도권은 서구에서 한중일 등 동아시아로 옮겨오고 있다"며 "지린성과 창춘시가 세계 뷰티산업의 메가시티로 발전하기 바란다"고 말했다. 권기식 회장은 이어 행사 주관단체인 지린성 미발미용화장품산업협회 양저(楊哲) 회장에게 한중도시우호협회 지린성 지회장 임명장을 전달했다.
이번 대회에는 탕더카오(唐德高) 중국 미발미용협회장 등 3천여명이 현장 참여했으며, 온라인으로 100여만명이 접속한 것으로 알려졌다.
이에 앞서 권기식 회장은 12일 오후 지린성 당보인 길림신문사를 방문해 유창진 부총편집인과 최화 국제교류 담당 기자 등과 함께 한중 언론 교류에 대한 간담회를 개최했다.
