이번 나눔은 ‘한수원 기후약자 긴급지원사업’의 일환으로 진행됐으며, 지난 7월 냉방비 지원에 이어 무더위에 취약한 주민들의 건강을 돕기 위해 마련됐다. 특히 지원 물품은 울진바지게시장 등 지역 전통시장에서 구매해 지역 상권에도 활력을 더했다.
울진군중증장애인자립지원센터 안순옥 센터장은 “매년 잊지 않고 따뜻한 마음을 전해주셔서 무더운 여름을 이겨내는 데 큰 힘이 된다”고 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
이에 한울본부 강태윤 대외협력처장은 “폭염으로 어려움을 겪는 이웃들에게 조금이나마 도움이 돼 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 지역 사회와 함께할 수 있는 나눔을 지속적으로 고민하고 실천하겠다”고 밝혔다.
