22일 조직위에 따르면 여수시청소년해양교육원에서 전날 열린 중간보고회는 섬박람회 준비상황 점검과 박람회 분야별 추진방향을 구체화하고 관계전문가 등 의견을 수렴해 박람회 성공개최에 실행력을 높이고자 마련됐다.
이날 보고회에는 조직위원장인 정기명 여수시장과 박수관 공동위원장을 비롯한 총감독단, 도·시의원, 이사회 이사 및 자문위원 등 관계자 100여 명이 참석했다.
