치솟은 사교육비 절감을 위해 교육부가 추진한 '자기주도 학습센터공모'에 전북 5개 시ㆍ군이 선정됐다.
전북특별자치도교육청은 학생들이 사교육 없이 스스로 공부할 수 있는 교육부의 '자기주도 학습센터 공모사업'에 김제 창의예술미래공간 다움ㆍ고창 창의예술미래공간 누리고ㆍ순창 옥천인재숙ㆍ장수 청소년꿈터 달빛ㆍ정읍 창의예술미래공간 별무리 등 도내 5개 지역이 모두 선정되는 쾌거를 달성했다고 2일 밝혔다.
자기주도 학습센터는 사교육 없는 자기주도적 학습 모델을 창출하기 위해 올해부터 추진되는 사업이다.
지방 중ㆍ소도시나 학교 밖 학습 여건이 열악한 지역 등의 중ㆍ고등 학생들을 대상으로 스스로 공부할 수 있는 공간과 다양한 교육·학습 프로그램을 제공한다.
센터는 ▲ 개별 열람실 ▲ 모둠 학습공간 ▲ 휴게실 등으로 구성된다.
스스로 학습 수준을 진단하고 그에 맞는 강의를 수강할 수 있도록 EBS 교육 콘텐츠가 지원된다.
대학생이 온ㆍ오프라인 학습을 돕고 학습 코디네이터가 자기주도 학습센터에 머물며 학습·생활관리를 지원한다.
